NVR (Geneva, funeral feedback)
NVR, resident of Geneva's underworld and bewitching electron_demon_libre, is armed with a severely fucked-up electronic arsenal/device for a saturated set with no input, no reason nor logic, a nihilistic manifesto filled with recordings from outer spheres and feedback manipulations&tinkerings. Author of various cassettes and opaque, perfectly disturbing and encompassing live sets, NVR plunges us into/ takes us on a journey/drift with omnipresent tension into “dark thriller” soundscapes/universes, sinister, or not, but always irresistibly psycho-trippy. NVR strives to connect to all kinds of inspirations from around the world and throughout genres. She has performed in Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Japan, China, India, and numerous other countries.

De Nicola’s sonic landscapes are characterized by fast, violent staccato rhythms, atmospheric deprivations, drones, and oversaturated subs, pushing the boundaries of the no-fi aesthetic to its extremes. She understands "no-fi" as a deliberate refusal of polished professionalism that makes space for abstraction and tangible deliberate renunciation of sound fidelity. Her work creates a sonic space where listeners can engage with noise as a form of resistance, a defiant response to the irrationality of modern social structures. Central to her practice is a fascination with entropy and unpredictability, often introducing random elements into her compositions to foster a sense of instability. This approach mirrors her broader artistic ethos, where continuous experimentation and the embrace of precarity allow her to resist easy categorization, crafting a unique sound world that defies conformity.
