FREDERIC STRITTER
Born in Dusseldorf in 1985. Currently living in Vienna.
He studied Theater, Film and Media Science and Computer Music and Electronic Media.
His works are mainly influenced by environmental sounds (field recordings, soundscapes and 24 hour
recordings). Led by a certain material or recording, he uses different miking techniques or rebuilds and
mixes the recordings with synthesizers. He examines the translation of sonic material in other media
and explores acoustic panorama.

FABIAN LANZMAIER
In his solo Work Lanzmaier is interested in creating imaginary synthetic landscapes. He strives to merge
the experience of the natural and the artificial, to confront the listener with ideas of fluid and ambiguous
environments. Through use of digital synthesis he is constructing sound objects that appear to exist
hauntingly physical. The sound design is based on physical modelling synthesis forming sounds of different
size, scale, form and origin. Inspired by science fiction novels, techno music, the harsh intensity of noise and
ambient music, the experimentation with song structures and a narrative approach guides the compositions.

DORIS POLLHAMMER
1988*
Born in Styria, studied Fine Art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Jerusalem and Amsterdam and Computer
Music and Electronic Media at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. She seeks intersections
of visual art and music, dynamics of stimulus filtering and tries to fathom limits of perception. She composes
scores for sound performative acts which interrogate notions of perception, medium, sound and listening and
incorporates her work in sculptural and installative arrangements. She is the chairwoman of the Association
for Electroacoustics and lives and works in Vienna.

NINA BAUER
*1973
Sound/media artist based in Vienna. “My works are experiments and explorations, condensed streams of
observations. Relations and relationships and the so called facts are being joyfully displaced and granulated.
Found-footage materials, field recordings and interviews are often used as back-drops to the emerging
time-, image,- and soundspaces.
Ensembles: WELTWEIT ERSTES STIMMGABEL ENSEMBLE, Velharmonisches Orchester.
Recent performances: Floating Sound Gallery St. Petersburg, Zentrale Vienna, Fluc Vienna.
